Submitting your retrofit installations for carbon credit generation is a straightforward process. By following a few simple steps, you can quickly qualify your projects and start generating revenue. Simply install and commission the measures, gather the necessary documentation, complete the enrollment form, and submit it to PNZ Group for verification.

Install Measures
Check to see if the measures installed are eligible for credit origination, for either previously completed works or works in your pipeline.
Documentation
Documentation required will depend on the retrofit measure involved. Please see the following 2 pages for further information on documentation requirements.
Commission Measures
Ensure that all measures have been installed to required standards, complete all required commissioning paperwork from relevant trade bodies.
Submit to PNZ Group
Complete and submit the Carbon Credit Enrollment Data submission form and provide the required information. We'll do the rest.
Submission Requirements
To ensure a successful submission, provide the following information for each installation: address, postcode, project name, completion date, installed measures, pre-and post-installation SAP scores, and any additional relevant documentation, such as EPCs, EPRs, and certificates. We may request specific information for certain measures, like the COP rating for heat pumps or the generation capacity for solar PV.

The documentation required for a successful submission will depend on the retrofit measures installed. All submissions involve the completion of a data sheet and the provision of supporting documentation and evidence. We can work with you to find the best approach for installations where you have an alternative to the information listed below.
Building Regulations
Compliance
This demonstrates that the installation complies with relevant building regulations and standards.
Energy Performance Certificate
Pre- and post-installation EPCs or EPRs provide a baseline and measure the impact of the retrofit measures.
The Enrolment Data Form
We are ready to work with you and your administration team to assess carbon savings from historic, ongoing and planned works. Our Enrolment Data Form is designed to facilitate the core data we need to begin processing your retrofit measures.
- The Unique Property Reference Number for the submitted property.
- The address and postcode of the submitted property.
- An internal reference, Installer created, for the submitted property.
- The date on which the outlined measures were completed.
- The pre and post SAP score of the property. if available.
- Indicate which measures have been installed via a 'Yes/No

PNZ Group validates all submissions and documentation submitted to ensure the information is complete and accurate. An independent verification body conducts audits of the retrofit measures submitted to us. Auditing confirms that the emission reductions have occurred and may include site visits and inspection of the measures.
